FilmsdeLover.com announced today the launch of its initiative called "Label FdL" to help indie filmmakers reach a new audience. FilmsdeLover.com is a French website dedicated to romance films and its goal is to give its visitors a new choice of romance films that would never have been released in France through regular distribution. FilmsdeLover.com proposes to help filmmakers by providing French subtitles for their indie romance films and then help them sell the film to a French audience eager to discover new talents.
The first indie film to benefit from this "Label FdL" is called "This time tomorrow" and it is now available on Vimeo on Demand with French subtitles for $1, a special price for the launch of the initiative. The film is also highlit on our homepage and through a dedicated page on our website.
We firmly believe that direct distribution is the future of indie filmmaking and this future is already here.
